Luis' dad.

I have decided to make a big portion of this blog dedicated to stories about my friend Luis' dad. He is a good man no doubt, but he just has the most amusing events surrounding him as well as the most off the wall anecdotes leaving his maw. Here is undoubtedly the best story I was told tonight. Just thinking about it sends me in hysterics.

When Luis was a kid, his family went to Sebastopol to visit a family friend. They decided to take a baby pig from them as a pet. The pig was put in a box for safe travel. The pig sat in the back with Luis and his sister for the long ride back home. Sometime during the ride, the pig became very unsettled in his box. More and more did the creature become disturbed and hysteric. The children in the back grew more and more frightened; they knew if the animal got loose out of the box their lives would be at stake. Luis' father, in all of his wisdom, decided to try and calm down the pig. But how? How does one tame the savage beast? A simple solution brewed from the back of Luis' dad's mind: pure violence. A right hook straight to the snout and suffice to say, the pig was out. The trip continued to go as planned, until something unnerving was in the air. A feeling that things were not as they hoped and seemed. It appeared Luis' father was a mightier man than he thought himself to be. Upon inspecting the inside of the box one thing was oh so certain: the pig was dead. How does one take care of a situation as unique as this? Well, Mr. Luis' dad always has a solution for everything! He took the poor carcass and put it into some sort of sack. One container for another, right? Sack coffin in hand, Luis' dad took a might swing and sent the late pig on it's journey to the afterlife over the side of the highway.
